Equine Care

Horses always come first at our barn. Each 10x10’ indoor stall has an attached, outdoor, gravel run. Horses are fed hay three times a day with feed given at dinner time and mid-day turnouts for grazing during the dryer months.

We offer both full and partial care options. Please contact us for our availability and rates.

Other services we offer include: Grooming, lunging, blanketing, holding a horse for the farrier or vet, putting on fly masks and muzzles, etc.

Our barn can often accommodate short-term stays for visitors passing through town needing a night or two to board their horse. Please contact us for rates and availability.

Indoor Riding Arena

We have a 60 x 100’ fully enclosed indoor riding arena for easy riding when training in the arena, having lessons, or when the weather is rainy, snowy, or excessively windy (as the gorge can be!)

We can accommodate a limited number of trainers looking for arena space and/or lesson horses to use for training clients, please call to find out our availability.

Tacking and Grooming

There are three stalls with cross-ties for tacking and grooming. Two of the stalls have warm water hoses and drains in them for easy washing and cleaning.

Enjoy the heated tack room and your personal spot for keeping your tack and grooming tools in.

Grazing Pastures

There are six separate, irrigated grazing pastures for afternoon turn-out, spring through fall. We slowly acclimate their grazing time in the spring, with extended hours out on pasture summer through fall.

Trails and Saddle Club

Located on the west end of Post Canyon, there is excellent access to miles and miles of deep forest trails, right from the barn. The Hood River Saddle Club is also a half-mile away on horseback. The grounds boast of a full-sized outdoor arena, round pen, trail obstacles and a jumping course.
